Elijah

I just wanted to say how much I am enjoying Elijah at the moment. We are having very quiet days thanks to my ceaseless contractions and a very very big tummy, plus my waddle which makes it hard to do anything other than the basics. He is so happy this week though, despite our staying home all the time between school drop-off at 8:45 and pick-up at 3pm. He plays and potters, "helps" me with my chores, and generally just chats and sings his way through the day.
Looking at these photos makes me realise how quickly he has grown from a baby into a little boy. He will be 3 in just a few weeks. WOW. And just in time, he has learnt not only how to go to the toilet all by himself using a little stool, but to put his pants back on as well. Quite an achievement! And how to take dirty clothes to the hamper for me. And how to take his own shoes off and put them up on the rack. And lots of other little things which will mean less work for me once I have a newborn in my arms!
Looking at these photos also makes me think that I'll be sitting here in no time at all, contemplating how this little baby inside me has grown up all too fast into an active toddler, how Elijah is about to start school, and Saraya is an 8 year old little lady.
Makes me feel very tired, and very thankful for my arrows. :)

So sweet! They do grow up so quickly. My little Bee is off to school in the fall, and I'm already near tears just thinking about it. I'm realizing just how much I'm going to miss her.
