Don't you just love weekends? I love nothing more than having my family home and close to me!
Today we've been pretty busy.......... grocery shopping, weeding and mulching the gardens next door for an open house (keep praying, please), and helping some special friends who were moving house today. I seem to have picked up a cold of some sort, and have a stuffy nose but am otherwise okay. As long as the children (particularly Will) stay well, I don't mind!
Saraya and I just had a movie night, our "date night" for this month. The timing wasn't great as we're both really tired, but as always it was so nice to snuggle up by the fire and watch a movie together. Tonight's pick from our collection was "Fly Away Home" which is one of my favourites, so I'm glad she picked it! It's a really great full-length movie for kids about Saraya's age.
Anyway, I'm off to bed to get some sleep before another busy but exciting day tomorrow. We have some sorting out to do in our spare room to get it ready for my Mum who arrives tomorrow. Yippee!! I'm so excited to see her. She hasn't seen William since he was 3 weeks old, so he's changed HEAPS since then! I think she'll love his big smiles. :)

We love "Fly Away Home" too. Another really cute kid movie is "Milo and Otis," if you haven't seen that one yet.

What a great idea - to make a date night regulairly with your kids - will have to start doing this! I'll also have to look around for that movie as I've never heard of it before - my kids are currently loving watching "7 brides for 7 brothers"!
