Piano and Knitting

Here is a video of my little man playing his current favourite piece, Frere Jacques. This he worked out pretty much by ear, with a little help from me. I love to hear him play!

Saraya had a treat this morning. She got to be a special guest at Stuart's Prep, teaching the children there to finger knit! They had expressed interest in learning after Stuart mentioned the craft to them, and after they all asked "Please teach us Mr Fern" (he doesn't know how!!), I suggested Saraya go along to help out. She had the best time.

It's been a long day. Tomorrow will be another one. We are getting the septic pumped in the morning (can't say I'm looking forward to that...), then I'm thinking about taking our books and heading up to the beach for a few hours. Tomorrow night Saraya is having a friend sleep over.

And right now I'm off to put my feet up and do some reading. :) Chamomile tea and bed are calling......

What a great experience for Saraya to share her knowledge. Elijah is such a talented little man. He must get it from his talented Mum! xx

Love the video of Elijah playing Frere Jacques. He is pretty talented and his sweet smile at the end of the video melted my heart. Loved hearing sweet Will's voice in the background too. Tales of your family's life and happenings bring me such joy. As always, thank you for sharing.

I totally forgot to mention that I thought it was fantastic that Saraya went to Stu's Prep to teach the other kids to finger knit. It is awesome how your kiddos are sharing their gifts with others.
