Op Shop Bliss

So much going on in my little world, but for now let me share this morning's op shop finds. :) With school holidays coming up next week, I was thrilled to find a whole table of half price children's books - and when the books are only 50c or $1.00 to begin with, that's pretty wonderful!

Miss Saraya and the school librarian are practically best friends these days, she visits so often. And she's practically read every suitable junior fiction book in the town library. Sigh.
This pile should keep her busy for a little while anyhow.

And skirts! Two gorgeous long skirts for Saraya, and a long denim skirt for me - something I've always wanted actually. Total spent for skirts and books - $12. Happy dance!

Great finds! The boys had a great time recently at the Bookfest, searching for their special books.
And I've hunted down a Box Car book because I know how much Saraya has enjoyed them.

I love the old and old(ish) books ~ I can't believe how different the readers were back in the 30's than from what they are now!

Great finds. I always have a hard time finding skirts for Miah, and she really loves them.

Great finds! I have also recently bought 3 denim skirts from op shops - I love them so much & have wanted one forever (well ever since one of the older girls at the church I attended as a girl used to wear them). I'll think of you next time I wear one!
Love to you
Renata:)

I'm so excited to see "Lost in the Snow!" in your stack of books. That's one of Bee's absolute favorites. And yes, I am proud of you, you bargain-hunter!
