Farewell script...
.... and farewell beautiful costumes.
The season of my life which was "The Music Man" is over.
My children came to see the final performance on Sunday afternoon. They made this sign weeks ago - and held it up, cheering, when I came out for my curtain call! Beautiful, patient children they are. I'm mega blessed.
And my house is filled with flowers!
The above from 'Harold', my male lead.
And these beautiful white lillies from Stuart :)
And these ones were presented to me on stage after the final performance, by 'Harold' - on behalf of the Production Team. It was so special. The whole house smells wonderful.
After the final show, in the theatre foyer - Stuart "Marcellus", and me "Marian" - this is the sweet vintage dress I worked so hard to fit into! ;)
I have SO many more things to share with you - newspaper articles, backstage photos, the program shots, professional photos from the shoot, etc. etc.
But for now, let me just share that this has been the most wonderful stage experience of my entire life. Absolute bliss. I have been very blue these past two days, and depressed it's all over, but trying to relish the memories, thank the Lord for this opportunity, and delight in the afterglow of such a successful production.
And I'm back on the blog, by the way. :) Thanks for waiting for me!

Missed you! Looking forward to seeing more about everything.
Saminda - what a gorgeous dress, I just love it and it must have been a joy to wear it. I would wear it to go shopping in - I love lace on dresses! The flowers are fabulous and you must feel very special. You will always have the memories even though the show is over. Enjoy your time settling back into the 'everyday' routines but know that these ordinary days at home with the family can be just as special as any event or occasion. I know you know that of course!
How fun..you must be sad it is over. (but I am sure there are more to come.)
Love the vintage dress and the house loaded up with beautiful flowers.

YAY!! Welcome back. Glad you had a great experience with this production. Sorry you are experiencing sadness and separation anxiety. Love the flowers, the sweet sign from those adorable kiddos, and how lovely you look in your vintage dress. Congratulations on all the accolades and a job well done. Cherish the memories and your new found confidence!! Love ya, A
Woohoo! Good for you! So glad all went well.
You were so great in the musical also. Hoping the holidays will ease you back into the rhythmic sway of life and the blue feelings will be replaced with the wonderful memories from this amazing experience. And hope we can fit in a girly night sometime!!
You look so beautiful. Glad to have you back in the blog world. (Also, I'm so jealous of all the gorgeous flowers!)
Oh it is so exciting that you got to do this & I can imagine you did such a wonderful job! I love, love, love that dress!
Enjoy those flowers - I love the smell of lillies - in fact if Dave buys me flowers it's always lillies.
Hope you have a wonderful week & can get a chance to sit & relax a bit before the school holidays!
Blessings
Renata:)
