Busy, busy, busy!

Today has been a good, long, exhausting day!

I had lots and lots to organise with solicitors, building/pest inspection, figuring out settlement date, etc. as well as assembling and packing boxes (10 today, we're aiming for 10 more tomorrow ;)), and of course the cooking / washing / caring for busy toddler who likes unpacking as I pack / homeschooling / dance class this afternoon that needed to be achieved!!! Boy am I tired........

But we got there, the house is getting some semblance of order to it again tonight and although I had to knock up baked beans and tuna on toast for tea as I forgot to cook dinner, I'm happy with what we managed to fit in today!

Oh, and here's another peek of our new home...........

Dam on the left, 2 long rows of young eucalyptus trees in the front, home high up on the hill. *Sigh*....... Is it really, really real??? :)

Hey that is a great cover? What are you unsure about? I think it looks fantastic. Great job, what an accomplishment!

My oldest daugher is editing a book (with the help of an editor) ...it is all so foreign to us. But knowing someday we will be able to post the cover and say *soon* ~then it will all be so worth the years and years of work.

Your new home looks wonderful - will you be using your previous house name or will you choose a new name for your little piece of paradise?
Finding a country property with established trees is such a wise move and those gums will keep on growing! How far from the town are you?

Wow, thanks so much everyone for your encouragement!!
Yes Theresa, we'd love to get as sustainable out there as possible - with a drinkable bore giving us a neverending supply of water, at least we won't have a water issue!
Hi Kimmie! I've been following your blog for awhile as I too have a heart for adoption and love reading about your beautiful children. :) Thanks for dropping by!
And Ann, thankfully we are still only 10 minutes from town!!! and only 4 minutes from the school where Stu works which gets him home earlier too!!!! :)
