Holidays
The holiest of all holidays are those
Kept by ourselves in silence and apart;
The secret anniversaries of the heart,
When the full river of feeling overflows;-
The happy days unclouded to their close;
The sudden joys that out of darkness start
As flames from ashes; swift desres that dart
Like swallows singing down each wind that blows!
White as the gleam of a receding sail,
White as a cloud that floats and fades in air,
White as the whitest lily on the stream,
These tender memories are;- a Fairy Tale
Of some enchanted land we know not where,
But lovely as a landscape in a dream.

Yes, we have just had 2 wonderful days away visiting my family at the Sunshine Coast, and Stuart's family in Brisbane. Walks on the beach, a birthday lunch feast (wow, what food!!), an afternoon concert staring the children's Grandpa up in the mountains...........
Lots of hours driving, but what wonderful little travellers we have!
I love my family, I adore holidays....... and I'm oh so thankful our car made it there and home again. ;)

Beautiful!
In every way,
all that you say,
and indeed holidays!
What gorgeous pictures! They really, really make me want to visit there!
Congratulations on your 100th post!
I am so glad you got the chance to getaway. Life always seems brighter when you leave everyday routine behind.
I love the last photo it is a great shot!
Glad you had a safe trip! I'm feeling homesick for the sunshine coasts beaches now! - I really miss the beach - especially now as the weather warms up a bit. Gorgous pictures!
If the car does break down there's always the option to pile everyone on the scooter. Make sure you get a photo if that ever happens!
