Trust

Psalm 125
Those who trust in the Lord,
they will be like Mount Zion;
Which can never be shaken,
but will endure forevermore.
As the hills surround Zion,
so the Lord He surrounds us;
And it will be forevermore,
Yes it will be forevermore.
Today I am trusting, and waiting on God to deliver us.
For the contract on the house to become unconditional.
For William's chestcold to heal quickly.
For Stuart's flu to pass and for him to return to full health. For God to place His hand of love and protection on him.
For Elijah's flu to pass quickly too. He has just come down with the high fever.
And for me to keep trusting, and to endure all that is coming before me. Today after an eye examination and having multiple blood tests, it was discovered that I've been having a migraine for the past few days...... and have been having them on and off for many years. I never knew that was what was happening when I had these headaches and "flashing lights" in my vision. My Dad who has had 2 strokes (both under the age of 50) may have had a blood condition which I too may possibly have, causing the blood vessels in the body to tightly constrict. I'll know more tomorrow at the follow-up appointment.
I don't often worry, but tonight I feel overwhelmed with life and will just have to keep speaking Psalm 125 over and over in my head.
I feel like it's just one thing after another in this house lately................... Do we have a target on our heads or what??

Hi Min,

So sorry to hear that everyone is unwell! Prayers and hugs to all! I hope Stu's eye is better??

Btw - have been having migraines for years too - same flashing lights etc to warn you that one is coming. Best thing I've found is (and this might not work for you and is abit drastic but it's effective) induced vomiting. Then lots of sleep (which may be hard in your case). Often I get them so badly if I wake up with them, that I begin to feel nauseous - and to stave off the inevitable and fasten the recovery I induce myself to throw up. Works a treat! That and a few neurofen migraine and bed!
Feeling your pain on that front!!!! xxjen

I'm so sorry that you're dealing with all of this right now. My husband and I will add you and your family to our daily prayer list. God bless.

I'll be praying about the house and the family. As for the migraine, I completely understand how horrid those can be. Last year, I had one for a solid month and a half. The blood constricts, yes, but there might also be a lack of sufficient iron in your body. (When I get a migraine, I just usually take a few iron supplements, and the migraine vanishes fairly quickly)
I hope you all feel better soon and that the deal on the house goes smoothly!
