More Rain and a Muffin Tray

More rain today. At least our tanks are filling up and the vegetable patch is blooming!! We have a cucumber nearly a foot long out there. I need to remember these blessings when I'm smelling the dank chook pen and longing for sunshine. :)

Our health is still not great either. It's been ages since we've been sick and it's come as a bit of a shock! Elijah developed fevers last night. It appears he too has come down with the virus. And I woke up with a sore throat. :( Sleep was elusive last night so the children and I have had a bit of a quiet day today. A few hard moments but some nice ones too!

I thought I'd show you one of the things I picked up at the op shop yesterday.

This plastic muffin tray for only 30c. Perfect for sorting our collection of marbles. Or buttons or whatever.

William had a ball with it this morning.

The little red drawstring bag in the picture was another find - for only $1, yay! We are using it for storing the marbles because it's the perfect size and so pretty. :)

Saraya thought she'd have a go too. :)

Everyone had slept in this morning after such a rough night's sleep, so we skipped naps this afternoon and decided to drop in to the fruit shop and the book library and toy library instead. Good decision! It was so nice just to have a change of scene and restock our supplies. :)

God is good. Rough nights turn into sunny days - even when it's raining.

And if you look carefully, you might even see Red Riding Hood and a Pirate friend wandering around in the garden, in their gumboots. Just maybe. :)

We've been dealing with virus's on this side of the world too. Right now it's the stomach variety in our house.

Your pictures with the green grass are so wonderful to look at. It's been cold here for so long; I am so ready for spring/summer and to be able to go outside without bundling up.

Hi Saminda
The rain has moved down here now! We're having a beautiful wet day today (& I'm glad schools finished for the week as it means the kids can watch a movie!)

I hope you all recover quickly. Your grass does look beautiful & green there & I can imagine your garden would be loving the rain!
Hope you have a lovely weekend
God bless
Renata :)

I hope you feel better soon! It's not fun to be feeling down. The pictures are adorable. And yes, I do remember fondly sorting buttons into my Mum's muffin pans. Or if my brother were present, his rock collections got sorted as well. ;)

Hope you guys are feeling better.
I love how green the world is looking at the moment, but with a bit of sunshine too would be nice. A little bit greedy I am.
