Some things happening around here lately:
A little girl beginning to read independently!!!! Saraya is now picking up virtually anything and reading it, and obviously just loving her new skill. Very very exciting!
A little boy beginning to use his creative skills for craft. Last time Mum was visiting (a few weeks ago) Elijah made this little paper house for a tiny cut-out paper cat. He must have worked on it for an hour or more. His imagination is taking him some exciting places!
Watching Playschool and Take on Technology whilst sharing a plate of watermelon.
Walking to the park down the road and...
swinging........
and flying kites........
and just enjoying life.
And of course, the usual cooking, washing, reading, growing, egg collecting, teaching, creating, driving, learning, dancing, praying, singing, and playing that always goes on!

Great photos of the children, as always. So glad that Saraya is getting into reading and loves it. I hope it's a lifelong passion of hers. I am an AVID reader and it does my heart good to see little ones picking up the reading bug. (My 2 yo niece loves books too and that always makes me smile).
Kite flying, AHHH, what a perfect way to relax and unwind while connecting with nature. And swinging is a kind of therapy for me. I have been known to go to the nearest park to swing for a while when I need to process thoughts or clear my head.
Glad things were a semblance of normal after your scare w/Stuart last week. Remember to take care of yourself too.
